START Hamburg

Zero to one, from nothing. Built it because I was locked out of the startup ecosystem for being at the wrong university. So I built the thing I wasn't invited to.

Gathered the founding team, incorporated as eingetragener Verein, got gemeinnützig status. Launch event sold out the community space at a WeWork — first time in Germany. Ran a pitching competition. Startups in the ecosystem raised ~€1M during my time.

London and Paris chapters came later. I helped those chapter leads where I could — sometimes an event, sometimes just a call — and did the same for the other German chapters. Then I handed Hamburg over.
